Photo by Bailey Hillesheim/Icon Sportswire via Getty Images Despite a poor shooting night, Nebraska guts out the win to improve to 9-1 It hasn’t been the prettiest of wins as of late, excluding the Minnesota game, this one was no different. A career night from Amiah Hargrove, 19 points from Britt Prince, and a great defensive performance from Callin Hake help get the job done. Not to mention Alexis Markowski hit a milestone 1,500 points tonight. She joins Karen Jennings, Jordan Hooper, and Kelsey Griffin...

Hayden Rooney The Huskers meet the Texans for a Tuesday night game The Huskers are coming off a solid win over previously unbeaten Minnesota. The Husker defense was on-point in frustrating the Gophers. Offensively, Nebraska featured balanced production throughout the roster. It was difficult for Minnesota to know who was going to create on offense. Freshmen Amiah Hargrove (10 points, 8 rebounds) and Petra Bozan (9 points, 5 rebounds) both made major contributions against Minnesota. In fact, Nebraska’s freshmen, including Britt Prince, combined for 26...

I made a spur of the moment, “I’m triggered” video yesterday, largely because of a tweet from Max Olson about how many players entered the transfer portal on Monday. Final totals from the first official day of portal season, by my count: – Nearly 750 FBS scholarship players entered the transfer portal on Monday. – More than 1,000 FBS players entered the portal. – More than 1,800 Division I players! — Max Olson (@max_olson) December 10, 2024 That’s in one day. Granted, because of roster...
Things have been happening at a “blink and you’ll miss it” pace since last Sunday. Tonight, we’ll break it all down starting with the flurry of new(ish) hires on the Huskers staff. Start spreading the news! By tuning in to the HHH at 8PM CST tonight! And sorry – I figured I should be about the 3,294th Nebraska outlet to use the New York New York line. But no matter what retreaded lyric I use, the fact was we couldn’t take a nap for the...

Denny Medley-Imagn Images Do you hear that hyperventilating sound? That was the legion of Nebraska fans crying into the wilderness that all of these defensive players were entering the transfer portal. This was especially true for the defensive linemen. Who could blame those players as Nebraska did not have an assistant coach in place to coach the defensive line and the transfer portal opened up. Well Pete Thamel of ESPN reports that Nebraska has hired current Kansas City Chiefs Assistant Defensive Line coach Terry Bradden...
Dylan Widger-Imagn Images Matt Rhule knew that Tony White was not here for the long haul. Tony White had bigger plans to be a head coach and Rhule understood that fact. Fast forward to prior to this year the then secondary coach at Nebraska, Evan Cooper, resigned his post. This appeared to be the perfect opportunity to bring in a potential future answer for the defensive coordinator position when Tony White inevitably leaves. As reported first by Pete Thamel, Nebraska announces that it has promoted...

Stephen Bruce More exciting volleyball to come this weekend! The football transfer portal is officially open and I think we are in for a bumpy ride. The last week has been full of players entering the portal and this is just the start. The portal is open until Decmeber 28th and the rosters have got to be shaved down. We need to remember to just keep our cool and see where things land when all the dust settles. Much easier said than done, I know....
