In his third year as Nebraska’s head coach in 2025, Matt Rhule is known for a pattern of significant program improvement in year three. Nebraska, with a 5-7 record in year one and 7-6 in year two under Rhule, is aiming to build on that foundation and potentially experience a “year three jump.”\u00a0<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nebraska begins its season on August 28 against Cincinnati at Arrowhead Stadium. It will be an interesting offseason as the coaching staff works to fill in the player position gaps and adds depth with new recruits and portal transfers.
