
Join us as the Northeast Kansans for Nebraska Alumni Chapter celebrates the anniversary of the founding of the University of Nebraska on Saturday, February 18, 2012 at the Ramada Convention Center, 420 SE 6th Ave. (I-70 & 6th Ave.) in Topeka beginning around 5:30 p.m.
We will have two speakers. Randy York of huskers.com, who will introduce our speaker, will talk all things Husker sports and John Ingram who will update us on the fantastic construction going on at the university right now, focusing on the East Stadium football expansion and other athletic facilities.
Randy York the Chief Communications Officer for the University of Nebraska Athletic Department.
John Ingram is coordinator the Athletic Department’s $112 million in construction projects including the East Memorial Stadium Expansion; the Athletic Research Fit-Out Project; the Hendricks Training Complex for men’s and women’s basketball and wrestling; the Devaney Center Improvements for volleyball; and the Haymarket Park Indoor Practice Facility for baseball and softball.
