The 6′ guard averaged 17.1 points, 3.6 assists, and 3.2 rebounds for Western Illinois and shot 41.7% from the floor. While there he was a three year starter for the Lumberjacks. He was a second team All-Summit League his sophomore season.
Kobe will be a graduate transfer and will have two years of eligibility remaining at Nebraska as he has not redshirted. He picked the Huskers over the likes of Wake Forest, Arkansas, & Xavier.
