As Husker fans, we know how important it is to give back to our community and show, as it says on Memorial Stadium, that “Through These Gates Pass the Greatest Fans in College Football”.  Each year our chapter does at least one community service project in Topeka.

Due to the generous donations of Husker fans attending game watches these past years we’ve collected around $400 each year for our project to help those less fortunate than us. We are “passing the hat” again this year, collecting donations during halftime at our game watches during the months of October and November for Doorstep.

If you normally don’t attend our game watches and would like to contribute to our chapter’s charitable community project, you can send a check to our treasurer, made out to the Northeast Kansans for Nebraska.
