Pro-style quarterback Patrick O’Brien has found a home for his talents.

I am so thankful to be given another opportunity to play football at another amazing university. With that I am excited to announce my commitment to Colorado State. pic.twitter.com/gowLL8oMXZ— Patrick O’Brien™ (@oneandonlyPOB) June 8, 2018

O’Brien redshirted his freshman year, and played sparingly in relief duty last season. He appeared in 3 games, compiling a record of 18-30 passing, no touchdowns, one interception. He competed during spring camp, but saw his playing time become more and more sparse. Seeing the writing on the wall, he asked for and received his release from Nebraska football.
Head coach Mike Bobo has this program on the rise. This looks like a soft landing, with lots of opportunity for O’Brien to excel. Good luck at Colorado State, Patrick. GBR!
