Win some, lose some. It’s back to literally square one for Nebraska’s 2019 recruiting class. The lone member of it, wideout Marquez Beason, has decommitted from it.

The Bishop Dunne product had just received what he would call his “dream offer” in the past couple of days, and that’s from Texas.

It’s not a terribly great thing to lose a near five-star WR to the Longhorns, but being it’s very early in the cycle for ‘19, it’s not some fatal blow that means we should shut it all down.
Beason is going to be a good player no matter where he goes, and we wish him well.
As far as Nebraska is concerned, we’ll have a better idea in the next couple of days the direction of ‘19′s class. The Nebraska staff is back together in Lincoln and expect their big boards for both ‘18 and ‘19 to come back to fruition.
