Assistant Athletic Director, head of the University of Nebraska Strength and Conditioning Staff, the founder of Husker Power and the innovator of all college athletic weight training programs, Boyd Epley is our featured speaker.  He will update us on the Husker athletic program, its strength and conditioning program, including the football team and his thoughts on the upcoming football season.

We will provide Husker stadium hot dogs, hamburgers and adult (Courtesy of Fleming Place Wine & Spirits) and non-adult drinks.  Plus the Martin family, owners of Banjo’s Restaurant in Pauline, will be providing homemade potato salad, baked beans and coleslaw.  The Johannes’s will be donating various types of Frito-Lay chips.  The Runza Hut in Lawrence will donate mini Runzas.  With all these food items provided, if you would like to bring another dish or dessert please feel free to do so, but it is not necessary.

Northeast Kansans for Nebraska chapter members and their family are free.  Non-members will be asked to make a small donation of $4.00 to attend.

We will hold our “Road to Nebraska” scholarship fundraising campaign contributor drawing at the event.

There will be silent and live auctions of Husker memorabilia with proceeds going to our scholarship fund. Invite a friend and come and join in with other Husker fans in the area as we get ready for the 2016 football season which at that time will only be about a month away.

Let us know if you are coming by emailing kenlon_johannes@cox.net   It will also be time to renew your family membership.  If you have any changes in your address or have an additional email address you would like to add to our data base, please fill out the form on this website and send it in in advance, or bring it with you to speed things up at the registration table.
