Join us for our 2018 Northeast Kansans for Nebraska Picnic

  • Reynolds Lodge at Lake Shawnee on Tin Man Circle
  • Topeka, Kansas
  • Saturday, August 4, 2018
  • 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

The Voice of the Huskers Greg Sharpe is our featured speaker and will preview 2018 Football season and give his insights on Scott Frost and the new coaching staff.

We will provide hot dogs, hamburgers and adult and non-adult drinks (Courtesy of Fleming Place Wine & Spirits).  The Martin family, owners of Banjo’s in Pauline, will be providing homemade potato salad, and coleslaw, plus the Runza Hut in Lawrence, runzas.  With all these items provided, we will get back with you on a few items we may ask attendees to bring, if you wish, such as baked beans and desserts.

Northeast Kansans for Nebraska chapter members and their family are free.  Non-members will be asked to make a small donation to attend.  Please let us know in advance at kenlon_johannes@cox.net if you’re planning on attending, so we can have enough hot dogs and hamburgers for everyone.

We will auction Husker memorabilia with proceeds going to our scholarship fund and announce the results of the Road to Nebraska campaign and draw for the campaign’s prizes,  Invite a friend and come and join in with other Husker fans in the area as we get ready for the 2018 football season which at that time will be only a month away.
